Update (v1.47.27 - 20200517) since the initial release of webMAN MOD v1.47.27 @aldostools has made huge improvements to the plugin with these latest revisions to v1.47.27.The developer is adding alot of new functionality to the plugin and has some big announcements in the latest changes. See UPDATED changelog and also quote from developer Aldostools himself about the latest progress provided to the PS3 Plugin in this latest update
(Original Article) Developer @aldostools whom recently updated IRISMAN for 4.86 Support (& more) has also updated the popular plugin webMAN MOD to version 1.47.27 with support for 4.86 firmware. That has not been the only changes provided to the webMAN MOD plugin. For instance, If you are transferring files via FTP that information will be displayed in the Temperature Monitoring page (from a networked connected broswser: your ps3ip/cpursx.ps3). The plugin has some other additional features and fixes provided in this update marked in the changelog provided below.

webMAN MOD is a fork of @deank's original webMAN. Dean's version is solid and provides a great experience on its own and provides a great foundation to webMAN MOD which started out as a collection of mods and the developer Aldostool's really took over the fork's development and provided many new features / support and takes the plugin into modern times. Both are great options provided by great developer's and to get a bit of insight on their development perspective be sure to checkout our recent interviews of both of these developer's deank (vol.1) and also Aldostools in (vol. 3) from our Power Supply Series

@aldostools , is it possible for Webman to display the FPS ( framerate counter ) in-game ? Or maybe log it ( to see which games have slowdowns and if changing the resolution will affect the FPS )
    2. aldostools
I don't know how to do that... maybe the gurus Mysis or 3141card know how or where to start... that probably needs to do some reverse engineering to find that info in real-time.

Thanks for the updated version with new features. I noticed that on my previous WebMan Mod version when I opened up the WebMan Mod web page settings, it would display the GPU & CPU temperatures on top. Trying to figure out how to enable this on this page. Also, I don't mean the combo Start/Select controller keys to bring this info up also. Thanks
    4. aldostools
I think you mean the page

You can set that page as your home page in the web browser.
Or use the combo L2+R2+L1+O from XMB to open it.

      Hello @littlebalup

prepISO only scan for games in NTFS and exFAT file systems.
The files in /dev_hdd0 and /dev_usb000 are detected by webMAN MOD.

If your ISO is in both partitions (FAT32 and NTFS) then it's normal that you get it listed twice.

I suggest that re-download prepISO just in case you got an earlier release.

In my tests it listed my content in PS3ISO, PSXISO, PKG, etc.

If you will use prepISO, it's recommended to disable the /dev_ntfs option in /setup.ps3 to prevent the deletion of the cached games in exFAT or in PKG during a XML refresh.

I only have PS3 isos in the NTFS partition (PS3ISO folder) and PSX isos in the FAT32 partition (PSXISO folder). PSX isos are not in both partitions.

I used the prepISO available on brewology. I re-dowloaded it from your github. Same results.

I'm not sure what you mean by disabling the /dev_ntfs option. Is it the "Unmount + Delete net/ntfs cached ISO" option? If so, it doesn't solve this issue.

Thank you master @aldostools for added support display ROM name, icon, ect. I love it.

    8. aldostools
The /dev_ntfs option is found when you expand the section to select the content to be scanned in /setup.ps3

The issue seems to be a bug in prepISO when using multiple partitions in the same USB device. I have to create that test scenario to check the cause.

I think it's related to the new exFAT library that also reads FAT partitions.

Hallo master @aldostools, I encountered a compilation error "undefined reference to 'convertH' if the commented flag #define SPOOF CONSOLEID.
      That happened since commit 968c9d9

      Thank you.

Thank you for your report. Commented that line, but I don't get the error.

Have you commented other flags? Please, take in count that not all combinations of flags are valid. Some flags have implicit dependency of others.

You can try compiling or using the lite edition. It already has commented the SPOOF_CONSOLEID

      Hello Everyone
      I have a problem.
my system is 4.86 hfw hen installed.
I installed this version of webman.
And I installed manual fan settings after installing. but then i gave up i deleted the webman but i couldn't return the fan settings to the original.
I reset the system, I installed ofw, I did hfw again, but still fan settings are like in webman. I mean, the fan settings have not improved in any way. I currently use the syscon option because the fan is going crazy. help me I want to make the fan settings original.
    15. aldostools
Try the latest build... I added a new file called wm_ignore.txt where the user can list the file names that want to be ignored during the ROM scanning.

This is the location of the file: /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/wm_ignore.txt

Install webMOD MOD again, go to /setup.ps3 and select SYSCON.
      Save and reboot.

After that you can uninstall it if you wish.

In the next release I am including a new feature for maximum fan speed.
This new setting will let the user define the maximum fan speed they want to reach to prevent the "jet takeoff" sound.

The maximum fan speed can be defined between 50% and 99% with a default of 80%.

thanks fan sound is good for now but when the system is idle, rsx 72 cell 65 gets very hot at degrees. I think the thermal paste I changed is very bad. I will replace it with arctic mx 4. I'm looking forward to the new version.

      Hi !
i have a slim 3K model on 4.86 with HEN , and i have a weired issue concerning WebmanMOD .... i'm on build 1.47.27 and it seems to have some conflicts with other managers ( i tried MM and Irisman both latest builds as of date ) ....

My issue is that WebmanMOD causes Multiman to Freeze on blackscreen when opening ( MM works fine at first ) but if i plug an HDD to the console it will never open again and it causes a blackscreen and only a forced shutdown will turn off the console ... i noticed a similar effect with Irisman but to a lesser extent, it works but as soon as i try accessing the file manager it freezes the console.

The only way to get those managers working again is either by reinstalling them and NEVER plugging back an NTFS HDD or uninstalling Webman ( webman is awesome tho , custom fan curves , FTP on XMB etc... but i use managers to copy large PKG files... so ununstalling them isn't a great feat)

Another thing i noticed is that Webman no longer loads games covers ( i have a single game on PS3 Folder, the cover doesnt load anymore but the game mounts and plays fine, i thought it might help you debug ).
My guess is that Webman is somehow blocking HDD access to other managers, but that's just a guess

      hey @aldostools

      i used HFW 4.68 WITH Webman ..
does Webman have support for Roms (Nes and Snes.. etc)?

because i once installed it and Roms show up on XMB but i am not sure enough , i tried again it dissapear . there was an app called menu tools v5 , it managed to create Roms on webman with games and i test it and worked to load Roms as Zip..

so i am confused is Roms file belong to you or him? Roms file has sub files ( Nes , Snes ..etc).
