@aldostools In the features of webman mod, it says 'Scan for games on the stealth folder "/video"'. But what format are these games supposed to be in (folder/iso)? If I drop an iso in there it doesn't show up. If it only detects folder games in that folder, is it possible to have detection of .iso formatted games in there as well?

The games stored in /video folder of hdd0 is an early feature of webMAN MOD implemented by Zar / [email protected] to hide the games and it's should works for iso and games in folders. But checking the source code to answer your question I just noticed that the feature has been broken for months.

I will fix it when I get back home... for the moment use the regular folders. Anyway IMO having the isos in video folder won't help if you want to prevent a ban from PSN/SEN.

Hey man, Im still struggling to webman mod to work on my ps3 slim. I cant even load the setup page, could it be that every firmware I tried doesnt work cause I disabled BT when building them?

hey @aldostools I remember some time ago webman mod having the ability to install pkg files from a NTFS drive, the pkgs used to appear in the bluray/dvd folder and after mounting they appeared in either app_home or package manager under default location (can't exactly remember tbh) but now I can't get it to work. I'm putting the PKGs in a folder called "packages" in the root of the NTFS drive, am I doing something wrong?

Noticed a small thing, I just downloaded and installed webman mod 1.47.16 on a freshly formatted system, and I'm getting a spinning icon on "Load sLaunch Menu".

Also I notice webman always prompts to restart after saving settings, even when changing the fan settings which does not require a reboot, not sure if it's hassle to change this, but maybe you could have some settings that don't prompt for reboot?

Your ReloadXMB pkg is only 60kb, how did you do that? :) If i use your PS3 tools to create a pkg, its always padded to 100kb.

Could you verify again the issue with the sLaunch icon.. I see the icon on my XMB

      The CREATE_PKG.bat for ReloadXMB.pkg

You're right, some changes to settings do not require restart. But there are many settings and I would have to analyze which require and which don't. So it's better that after the changes do a restart unless you know that it's not required. Anyway the restart is optional and only takes 30 seconds if you follow the instructions.

The bubble is made by IRISMAN (and other forks of Iris Manager). It requires to copy the whole file from NTFS to HDD0.

In webMAN MOD, you simply put the pkgs in "/PKG", "/Packages" or "/packages" and run prepNTFS 1.19. After return to XMB, the files will be listed under "Blu-ray and DVD" section of webMAN Games. Mounting the PKG will make appear in /dev_bdvd, and you will be able to install it directly through Package Manager.

The whole process takes much less time than copy the PKG as bubble. Specially if you have to install many large packages.

You have the option to use IRISMAN if you prefer the bubbles ;)

my mistake was not running prepntfs, thought it wasn't necessary anymore since it was integrated into webman mod but it seems i was wrong. thanks again man!

@aldostools refreshing XML is broken in 1.47.16 FULL edition, refreshing xml freezes up the console, doesn't matter if it's from xmb or web interface

EDIT: prepntfs 1.19 with 1.47.16 installed completeley locks up the console and needs long power button press to shut down

prepNTFS 1.19 is not longer necessary for PS3/PSX/BD/DVD ISOs. The internal prepNTFS of webMAN detect these games. However, the fake ISOs require to use prepNTFS.

The fake isos are created for /MOVIES and /PKG.

Also the PSPISO and PS2ISO are listed only by prepNTFS.

yeah i'm using it for the fake isos for PKG, the problem is that it doesn't support split isos on ntfs so after installing my pkgs as fake isos i still need to do an xml refresh from webman for all my games to appear. not a huge deal anyway. had to roll back to 1.47.14 due to the xml refresh not working on 1.47.16

Just done a few tests on my system, on latest Rebug REX, and had no problems whatsoever. I did the following:
      1. Select+L3 button combo to refresh XML
      2. Select+L3+R1+L1 to refresh XML and reload XMB (have not noticed reloading XMB however?)
      3. from webMAN Setup menu 'Refresh My Games'
      4. 'Refresh XML' via PS3 web browser

All with no issues at all.

Please try again with the latest release (re-download it)

I just tried the refresh xml and it doesn't freeze my console. Indeed the new build from today solves the freeze when you exit from multiMAN

tested with full edition or just regular/lite?
    17. kadorna2
yeah i just downloaded it 5 minutes before posting the problem, the funny thing is that i don't even have multiman installed, i'll try with the normal edition instead of full and report back

Just formatted again, installed only Rebug Toolbox, then wMM 1.47.16 , freshly downloaded this evening at 9.30pm, I installed the full version, metalification from github.

Still showing a spinning icon for Load sLaunch Menu.

      Cool. Handy to know.
      I understand.

tried lite version too, same thing, even tried to set a higher memory allocation within webman settings but as soon as i click on save the console freezes, seems to be a problem when it tries to write something to dev_hdd0. also tried installing reloadxmb.pkg but it has no effect, the problem still persists

Full, and not the newest build from today - an earlier release of v1.47.16 from a couple of days ago. Funnily enough, that worked absolutely fine yet I just installed the latest build, tried the Select+L3 button combo to refresh XML and my system froze up and I had to press the power button to shut it down. :D @aldostools
