I prefer to read wu dong qian kun manga at mangazuki. This is my favorite.
What are you reading?
I haven't read much in a long time, but I do enjoy reading classic literature with my favorite being dante's inferno. I have a copy of paradise lost, which I haven't gotten much into. it's a pretty difficult read. there are annotations at the bottom of every page explaining proper names and such. I installed a dimmer switch in my room for a lamp on my headboard just for reading.
Currently I am reading Emperor's Soul by Brandon Sanderson. GREAT book I must say.
I really don't read that often, I used to as a kid having less computer stuff to deal with haha.
Although I would want to read the Halo books, since I am quite a big fan of Halo.
And guess what, the thing that kicked me in the butt to read the first book was SCHOOL out of everything. Having to read an english book I chose the first Halo book. TBH it was worser then I thought but still good.
Right now I read the weekly Donald Duck every week nothing else haha.
Beyond The Shadows by Brent Weeks, which is book 3 of the Night Angel Trilogy. These are a really good set of books to read. They are like a dark fantasy, full of assassins, magic, epic battles. And the story line that runs through all three books is quite epic.
Currently r-reading It by Stephen King. I'm about a quarter of the way through (~250 pages) and since it's been about 10 years since I first read it, parts are slowly coming back to me as I go along. I'm generally a fan of horror literature; Stephen King is good for a nice, easy read but then you have Lovecraft which can be difficult going at times with the amount of archaic language and dense vocabulary he often employs. I've got a leather-bound collection of Lovecraft stories, called the Necronomicon (Book of the Dead).
The Shining and The Dark Tower are good as well by Stephen King, you read those?
I've just read "be more cat" a present from a friend and now I'm reading "Exploring Metaphysics"by David Kyle Johnson.
Check out "Fingerprints of the God's" & "Magician's of the God's" written by Graham Hancock. Absolutely fascinating.
I've read The Shining, but a long time ago. Definitely one of the creepiest novels I've ever read. Not read The Dark Tower series, but read a prequel short story called The Little Sisters of Eluria from a short story compilation called Everything's Eventual. It's about Roland's adventures before the events of The Gunslinger. 'salem's Lot is my favourite Stephen King novel, because I really like old school vampire stories.
im currently reading
I've never read any Stephen King books apart from Skeleton Crew surprisingly. I do love Stanley Kubricks The Shining though, have heard there are a lot of differences in the book with how Jack is portrayed. It's on my bucket list to read one day lol.
