I've had a jailbroken PSP for years, since 2008 or earlier, I think I'm running 3.40 OE-A on it or something along those lines, I remember the PSP CFW scene was pretty new and you couldn't do too much, just some emulation and some other things, so what's new? Is there any reason I should upgrade to a newer CFW? I'm just wondering what the CFW allows you to do now.

It has come leaps and bounds since the 3.40 open edition days. You should upgrade to the latest pro cfw. Compatibility has been drastically improved since what you were used to. 6.61 pro cfw

Any links and recommendations you could provide? Like I said haven't dabbled in the jailbreak stuff on PSP for a decade or longer, I saw the tutorials, but anything I should be worried about, possible bricking, what CFWs to use if there's different ones, etc.. more so just your opinion/advice on the subject.
