Bend the IHS? I don't know man. The steel back plates center pressure on the chips. PCs put more WAY more pressure on a thinner IHS for example :)

Try bending the steel back bracket a little more to add more pressure to between the heatsinks and chips :)

after looking through the PS3 library for an easy modable game, Unreal Tournament 3 pops out like a mofo. I'm on CFW and can mod a little more then they intended. like the main menu map... i think. can the game player models be sprites like Doom/Duke3D?

once a CFW is on there then its the same as if you used a hardware flasher

need a little more info. what type of ps3 is it? are you hosting the exploit or using the web? Edit: Also your usb stick might be on the way out.
