It's not exactly the same, and it was reported as not working by some users. I'll give my suggestion a try on my personal DNS server, if it's really just a domain issue, that should work and I'll try to pop up a GCP instance with the trial offer if it works - should be sufficient while admins...

How about setting up a DNS server like bind with your domains on it ? It should work if users set a custom DNS in PS3 settings to its IP address ? As a workaround of course !
