sorry I'm not very familiar with these terms, what is NPAID & VSH? regarding PSN on CFW , I've deleted any fake ACC ID and act.dat files on it. My account ID now shows a static number which I'm assuming is my real PSN ID?

Found the issue, it was to do with my console being deactivated and you can only activated it on OFW, once that's done I flashed it back to CFW and everything is pretty much sorted.

Make sense now, only way to sync is to revert back to OFW I guess. Do you know how HEN works? bc you can sync with HEN installed, and if I'm not mistaken HEN just acts like a SEN enabler?

what model do you have? have you tried evilnat's built-in OC at least?

Yep looks like core freq is the culprit - did 4 test with 600/750, 650/800, artifacts at 700/800, settled on 650/850 and everything is pretty much stable. Funny how that extra 50mhz can make such a difference, but yeah you're right it behaves very similar to 2000 models. Not a dealbreaker tho...
