Does that one remove foliage / objects? Eager to give it a try but I only make ps2classics PKG's so it takes about half an hour to build the package and get it resigned. I use HEN 2.1 and HAN Toolbox.

Just tested. Driving around is even better now, seems to be running at about 20 - 25FPS. 15FPS or so around the club. Smoother in some areas than others. Game crashed after about 7 minutes or so of testing. Was just racing around in Tony's car on the freeway / bridge near North Beach. Screen...

I gave this config a try. Played through the mansion and did a bit of freeroam and driving. There's still some slowdowns, especially when driving. Not exactly playable but definitely much, much smoother! This has to be a step in the right direction!

I played through career up to stage 5 — there were no crashes / save crash. Game plays pretty flawless imo.

No clue what "Try 0x21" means. I'm talking about CONFIG files, not managunz. Didn't try a widescreen hack. Just saying the configs that are available for LCS don't seem to make much if any difference in the games performance.

I tested all the configs available for LCS — none really made a difference. The CUSTOM one seems to improve the frame rate a little, but I wouldn't call it playable.

Nah it was the ntsc version. I have smoothing disabled by default on all ps2 games. Might have been in build mode when it happened. All good lol.
