I only have webman mod installed that can modify the xmb and the only plugin is the webmanftp (which is default afaik)..in worst case scenario I'll make a full cleanup (meaning reset the whole console)
If You mean that screenshot which said that after clean install it was ok and then a...
Well.. I've had a 50% success rate:
+ PS2 Classics are running fine after the CFW reinstall
- sadly the update notification's position hasn't been fixed
Ok, no problem.
Reinstalling the cfw now..will report back with the results. Could reinstalling the cfw also fix the non starting PS2 Classics problem (even though the system reported the correct target ID)?
I didn't install any xmb or gamboot modifications.
One more thing which I've noticed (but maybe that supposed to be like this): the 'Cobra tools -> Create licence' option keep asking me to insert an USB device, despite on HDD0 there is an 'exdata' folder with .rap files. Or would the...
Actually this screenshot has been taken after the xai_updater_cex.pkg has been installed.
Probably I'll try the 2nd option and reinstall the CFW..Do I've to install the xai_updater_cex.pkg (and run it) after reinstalling the CFW again?
@Evilnat Hmm...I've just noticed it.
Is this the correct position (or how it meant to be positioned) the notification for an update (afaik. On my prev. CFW it was in the middle..and actually when no updates are found, the text is properly aligned to the center)
No, I'm on a 2tb (internal) HDD. I've tried / checked the system and as much i can tell the target ID is the retail (87) one.
I'll look into the fan now as well (but I think - if WMM uses the dynamic fan control - it's on the default setting)
@Evilnat Thanks for the new CFW..I've a problem though..For some reason none of My PS2 Classics are working ..when it starts, It goes into black screen and I hear the PS3 just spins down (I mean the fan) and the only way to come out of this, by force powering it off
I'm using 4.89.3 CEX
Thanks @aldostools ,
the /extgd.ps3?enable did not make any difference, but the map /dev_hdd0/game=/dev_usb00x/GAMEI did work fine:cheerful:
Does it matter (i mean as in function wise) if I map the GAMEI folder through the /extgd.ps3?enable or through the map command? Will this mapping last...
@aldostools Is it possible (at all) to auto enable external data on boot? Either in the boot_init.txt or the autoexec.bat :confused3:
As I've tried with the following commands (in both files), but neither of them worked:
http://localhost/extgd.ps3?enable
http://localhost/extgd.ps3
Though if...
Have You installed the Persona 5 through HAN ?
If yes, then the legally (i mean: through PSN Store) downloaded DLC's won't really work (let it be free or paid)..

As Joonie mentioned in his first comments, this error comes up when You don't enable the HAN BEFORE starting any game that has been installed through the HAN exploit..(the corrupted file error is some other number..I think 80029563..)
What I always do, is
- start the PS3 with secondary account...
Well..it seems that the problem was - as Joonie mentioned - that I haven't enabled the 'HAN' before I've started the games [emoji16][emoji16]..as now (with enabled 'HAN' ) all the games are working again [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
Thx Joonie for the help [emoji16][emoji106]

'HAN' was enabled for sure when I've tried to run the (freshly installed) games (as I've just installed them, minutes before)..sadly I can't check it atm, as I'm at work [emoji28][emoji28]
