ERK.. where do I start?

Hi, I have been using and updating CFW for almost a decade now and have never run into this problem before. Last night i had just completed transferring some more games onto my 750gb HDD (almost at the 75% full mark) and decided before i shut the unit down for the night, i would quickly update...

I downloaded this and tried to update about 20 minutes ago and the installation stopped at 45%. I now seem to be in an update loop which i cant get out of. I have tried to go into safe mode but it does not work and simply takes me back to the installation screen which inevitably fails at 45%...

no luck unfortunately. Does anyone else have any other ideas? Obviously I don’t mind to reimburse someone for their services

I have an Xbox 360 S that i am interesting in installing a custom dashboard. However it is not as easy as PS3/PS4 to mod which ive just learned. So i would like to know if there is anyone i could send my unit to who can help me hardmod it?

Okay, so i can use an external HDD of larger capacity to 'backup' my data using the PS3 system software, then insert the new HDD and restore it via the PS3 and it should retain all my custom firmware installed games and saves?

Id like to put a 500gb HDD into my slim 120gb which is running evilnat however i dont want to lose my games and saves already installed onto my CFW. As things take so long to install on the PS3, is it possible to perform some kind of backup and keep my data when installing the new drive? Really...

Just in case anyone can help, I sent this into a repair shop who specialise in console repair and they basically told me they don’t know what is causing the error. They didn’t mention the chip or other component at all. I’m getting the idea they might not have been as knowledgeable or willing...
