i experienced the same in the begining, at least 3 times, just after i disassembled the consoles. CPU was always significantly hotter than before. Both of them were slims. The reason could be damage on the motherboard or damage of the solder under the chip as the original paste is very firm...

What is the better solution of the two, to store PS3 backups in .iso format or in JB folder format on external NTFS/exFAT formatted USB drives? Also, is it the same as to HEN and CFW ? Your exerience please. Thanks in advance!

Can you install Multiman and if yes, does it show up in the XMB and works correctly?

Hi Brother! My advice is, if you have HEN installedm to set up the date (prefer via internet), then turn off the Internet connection every time when you run the Enable Hen. On that model you cannot install CFW, just HFW along with HEN payload. The latest CFW compatible PS3 models have date code...

Oh sorry, this one: So this happened to me, model CECH 2504 and when i pressed the case from above fan, it turned on correctly. Ths is probably the easiest way to check it and if doesn't help, try to do it with the Sandungas' advice.

if it works like the one in the video, it's most likely solder issue with one of the chips. Also, if solder is the culprit, you should be able to turn your PS on if you press it above fan, or put sth from 10-15... kg o on it. I had the same issue and it worked. It's the cheapest option if works

those are 100% IRD (without .PUP), in .ISO format. Sometimes it is impossible to get the games icon until you click on every game and then refresh xml and xmb again (there are blue disc icons instead) while all the data are displayed correctly in Multiman.. Using the latest HEN and webMAN .33...
