I don't think using an SSD is going to be of any benefit. The PS2 is old tech and the read speeds will be determined by the PS2 itself, not the drive. That said, I'm using a 4tb 5400rpm Seagate Barruccuda drive, and it's working great with version 1.2.03, though it's a 3.5".

Spent all night adding games and working to manually add cover art, and ran into a big issue. When plugging my working drive back into my windows PC, my PC says that the drive is empty and in raw format. I thought it had been erased, but when I plugged it back into my PS2 it still worked...

Another thing I've now tested: Renaming games through OPL crashes the PS2, though the change DID properly save and on a hard reboot, the file is renamed. Weird issue.
