- Installer will read your console ROM version to calculate Opentuna variant needed by your PS2
- If installer can't find OPL/conf_opl.cfg on target memory card It will write icons and config files to the OPL folder
- Manual install package was reorganized
BXEXEC-OPENTUNA folder will contain a file called
icon.cnf
This file will contain a small
text string identifying wich consoles are compatible with that Opentuna icon:
"
190+" = compatible with SCPH-5XXXX with ROM 1.90 and every Slim (PS2TV included)
"
170 " = compatible with SCPH-5XXXX with ROM 1.70
"
110+" = compatible with every FAT from SCPH-18000 to SCPH-39XXX
If the console running the installer is incompatible with Opentuna (SCPH-10000 and SCPH-15000) the installer will skip Opentuna related files...
Advanced notes for people helping on troubleshooting with noobs:
If the icon.cnf file ends (light blue triangle on uLaunchELF editor) on the seccond line, then that icon comes from a PSU file from manual install package, if end of file is on 1St line it means the icon was written by the installer...
