Accidentally tuned webman fan mod to 100%

Forum Noob
So today i got bored and decided to mess around with my modded ps3 hen( superslim)
i went into hen toolbox and i saw a webman menu in there and i clicked it and saw a option to tweak my fan speed. I selected 100% by accidentally and the ps3 fan started to get loud as hell( like literally it sound like a plane taking off). I tried to turn it off but the ps3 froze on the screen and i cant move across the xmb. I restarted it a couple time and enabled hen but as soon as i enabled hen webman activated and the fan gets loud
Now in the evening i got an message on the ps3 saying that "the file system on the system storage is corrupted" I tried to boot into safe mood but failed because i dont have a original ps3 controller. So i went ahead and restore the system but it stucked at 20% and moved up after like 1 hour but now its moving slow
Its now at 33%
I would like to know what will happen to the ps3 after this process is done and how could i have fixed the fan issue . Thanks in advance. Sorry for bad english

You can put a blank boot_plugins.txt file onto a FAT32 usb stick in the right hand side USB port, this will stop webMAN MOD from loading when you enable HEN.

Then you can use a file manager application to remove the dev_hdd0/wm_config.bin file, this should reset the fan speed to default. Then remove the USB drive and reboot, then enable HEN again.

I also had that issue before with 100% fan speed, system went really slow and almost crashed. Make sure you have the very latest webMAN MOD , I think the issue is fixed now. Now it will not allow 100% , only 80% https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases/download/1.47.35/webMAN_MOD_1.47.35_Installer.pkg

wow thank you so much
but i have passed that staged already and the issue i am having now is that the "file system is on the storage is corrupted and will be restored" I pressed ok but its takng a long time to complete
it stopped at 20% but moved to 21% after an hour. Its like every 3 hour it moves. The light went out last night so i had to start over
Could you tell if this is normal and what will happen after the process is done?
Thanks in advance

I had the same problem. Accidentally turned fans past 70%, system froze, something went wrong and had to re-format the HDD but everytime I tried, it couldn't pass certain %.
The fans were still super loud but I fixed it by turning off the PS3 (holding the power button), unplugging the Power Cord, then holding the power button for 30 seconds (while unplugged) to recycle power.

After that, the fans readjusted to normal (like the stock speed) and I was able to re-format the HDD.

Maybe it has something to do with voltages? Fans drawing too much amps?

The file system restore was stuck at 20% or sometimes the screen will go blank. I had to plug my harddrive in my pc and scan for bad sectors and fix them. Then i was able to pass the file restore system screen but the fan was still loud so i pulled my ps3 up and remove the fan cord that connects to the motherboard lol and i was able to turn on the ps3 and turn down the fan settings.
