PS3 Blitz the League 2 Hex Editing

Created an account to post this. So I'm new to hex editing and looking for guidance. My goal is to edit the amount of money I have in campaign mode. I want to give myself a lot of cash week 1 so that I can purchase all of the upgrades and see how broken a team I can make. I've located the cash values in a few files but after editing them my save corrupts. I agree there may be a checksum I'm missing somewhere, but I don't really know how that stuff works. I'm using HxD to edit. I can upload save files if someone needs one to play around with. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, should I join the discord and try to get help there as well?

Apollo Save Tool can apply cheats to some games. it takes care of encryption, checksums, and all that. i do not know if that game is supported however.

I've been using Bruteforce on my pc, as my ps3 isn't jailbroken. Can Apollo Save Tool be used on pc? I would be surprised if Blitz was supported tbh. I'd like to see if Bruteforce has any cheats, but for some reason updating the cheats repo on startup breaks the games.conf file it seems. If I update the cheats repo and/or the games.conf suddenly Bruteforce can't find a key for Blitz lol. Either way, I have a feeling it's going to come down to learning how to edit it myself honestly
