Bricked CECHA01 NAND recovery

Hi Guys

im trying to help out a guy on Redit who bricked his CECHA01

im not exactly sure what happened but he used the Exploit to CFW his unit and remarry the BD drive then went back to OFW i think however he then tried to go back to CFW and bricked his unit

he got a valid backup of the NAND b4 bricking the unit and from what i understand you need a E3 Flasher to get the unit unbricked...

my question is, considdering there is 2x 128mb chips in this unit and his backup is 236mb in size how do you flash it back? i assum there is a way to break the file in half or something.... or did i get it completly wrong and there is an easy way to do it...

i have been researching this for a couple of days and only came up with walkthroughs for newer models that dont have the large 2 NAND chips and only the 16mb NOR chips...

any advice would be appriciated :)

P.S. i am on the opposite side of the world to this guy so if you ask any questions it may take a day or 2 to get the answeres back to you...

It's quite possible that he forgot to leave FSM (factory service mode) after remarrying but before installing a firmware & bricked because of that, it's a classic.

In any case I think it's better if he gets help directly, to help him, if that's even possible, other members will need precise details & possibly console access..

thanks for the responce. il talk to him and see if he wants to post here for some help :)

Hi....you need to utilize an e3flasher and wipe it right down to its processing plant default firmware. then, at that point introduce 4.82 sony firmware then escape it then, at that point introduce rebug firmware.

This is wrong and not even possible. A teensy is what is utilized to unbrick and flash a nand console. There's also progskeet, and one more but they are older and I don't know if you can even get clones of these anymore.
