Can't install HEN

Hello! I hope that this is the right place to post this. If not, please point me in the direction and I will happily ask my question there.

I am trying to jailbreak my CECH 2510a model. I downloaded HFW 4.86 and was using the miniweb exploit. However, when I try to initialize or install the HEN exploit, I get many errors. Sometimes I can initialize the exploit and sometimes I cannot; once (maybe twice) I have been able to install HEN but no install actually happened. Sometimes I get error pages where it seems like the site (ps3xploit) is down. Additionally, when trying to "update" to 4.85 I can't because it says I am already on the latest firmware.

Is there a better way to do this? Am I doing something incorrectly? Please share any tips or advice and/or let me know if I need to supply more information.

try to install hfw 4.86 from recovery mode.

which miniweb exploit? where did you get the files?

some cech-25xx models can use cfw instead of hen. have you checked bgtoolset or used minver pup to find out if your ps3 is cfw-compatable?

I currently have HFW 4.86 on my device. I was initially following a guide on youtube that where you go to a website on the ps3 based on the IP address that is shown in a miniweb application on your computer, which then downloads the video. I got it from this video...
(not sure if links are allowed). In any case, the links are in the description of the video.

I did use minver to check, and it said that my unit can go as low as 3.40, so I believe that that means it is compatible?

okay ps3 can use cfw. forget about hen and that video. use bgtoolset to jailbreak. i recommend rebug cfw.
