I mostly just created an account because I was reading a forum post about getting the ps3 checa to read a hdd img with opl, since usb 1.1 is slow as hell. To add it's really an underrated feature to run ps2 games in forced 1080i on a ps3 with hdmi for a super crisp and clean image.

PS2 HDD image cannot be read by OPL.
To not have blurry screen but super crisp as you claiming, you need to use on PS3, the emulator which supporting discs (which also means you need model with EE/GS/RDRAM) or these for digitally distributed games but hacked. Stock emulators for digital versions, looks horrible due to upscalling by bilinear filtering instead of nearest neighbor.
