PS3HEN HEN Installation Help Needed

Hey guys,

So I've been trying to get HEN installed onto my PS3 and have been having trouble with the process. I've been closely following the tutorial and have done everything up to this point (which includes installing OFW, HFW, and activation). However, when I try to run the auto installer, it keeps failing and instructing me to retry. Even more confusingly, when I try to run the alternate installer, it tells me that I need to have HFW installed, which I have done twice now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

For the record, I'm trying to install 4.86, I have disabled the "browser confirm close" option, and I am currently using a wired connection.

set the installer page as homepage and delete cache. then back out of browser and reopen it. this may help.

you can also try the regular offline method or auto hen installer (also offline).

there are some custom hen versions on the internet...but i do not recommend them because i can not find where they have shared their changes to the code.

I Would try Coro's suggestion...1st
However I had Hell today to Trying to install HEN. Using Alternative method I was losing my (Network) icons everytime and Had to reinstall HFW. But after a few tries on HEN INSTALLER / ENABLER it finally succeeded.
And was able to click on (install) and Rebooted and now have HEN. I recommend anybody for now not to use Alternate Installer so you don't have to reinstall Firmware and start the process over.
It may take a few times but you should get it with Regular installer as mentioned above. Good Luck!
Also I tried the offline HEN zip file with KWS but my web browser never would connect. only showed a few websites....I'm sure I probably was doing something right though...
