Hey friends! Im praying someone can help me. I made an account to try and see if anyone can help me fix this error.
So I want to play Gundam Battle Universe on my PS3 and I always convert my PS1 games for the lovely organized game list instead of mounting isos so I wanted to do the same for PSP games.
When I select the iso with ezPSP2PS3 it gives me this weird invalid string hexadecimal error. Ive tried it with 2 different rips and both give the same error.
When I try it with the standard version it reads the iso unpacks it etc but when it gets to "creating package" I get ERROR: Cannot create package on both Gundam isos and a GTA Liberty City Stories ISO. Ive tried every setting, moving everything to a root folder, renaming the files to a short file name, running it as admin, moved things to my C drive instead of my old HDD used for storage, downloaded and installed old visual basic runtimes Nothing will work and I cant find anyone with this exact issue on google anywhere. T_T
So i spent awhile finding a PSP launcher that would mount and play and resigned myself to this uglier less organized method but got an error code on game startup but the game seemed to work perfectly. An hour later into the game with my character made I discovered that error meant I cant save. And from what I can figure out I need to make a package with a custom config to force PS3 saving so Im back to having to make a package to install like I wanted. Please help me! I was having so much fun playing this cozy on my living room couch.
