PS3 Slim CECH-3004B v4.83

Hallo guys.

I bought a PS3 Slim CECH-3004B v4.83 on ebay as a bday present and the seller told me it has jailbrake. After i got it i saw that there is only a Pro Evolution Socer DVD in it and no other games installed.

I am new in this field. Can anybody please tell me whats the best i can do now?

As I understand it, it can not be jailbraked, but there is some way to send games over the PSN for free on it, but it really confuses me, so the better question is:

What would someone more professional like you do with this console now to get the max out of it?

You should buy games or download demos/trials from PSN Store.

Seems like you have been ripped off, currently its impossible to jailbreak a 3004B, and as its on 4.83 its impossible to do anything with it also. If it was on 4.82 you could have used HAN.

The only thing you can do is backup injection of your games but if you do not have a PS3 on CFW to rip them you would need a PC with a BD ROM drive that can read and rip the disc's for you.
 
so, theoretically if i wait some months and check the official site, at one point, maybe in this year, a HAN for 4.83 should come out and i should maybe be able to use it then? :P

Its very possible, but don't forget, there were no new software hacks for installing CFW on PS3's for about 8 years from end of 2009 to end of 2017 apprx, so its possible there will be no new ones for another 8 years (or ever).
