PS3 PS3 Slim vs Super Slim

I have an early Slim model (I'm in Europe- the date sticker indicates it was built in the last part of 2009 so one of the first). The outer shell is in really good condition but the console has seen better days - the HDMI port is really loose and probably needs a new one resoldering. I think the HDD is on its way out. The disc drive is noisy. Most annoying of all the console sometimes freezes - e.g. when I tried to update GTAV and often when I am playing NFS MW 2012.

I also read that early Slims are prone to YLOD similar to the fat model.

I have the opportunity to buy a Super Slim for around 80-110 EUR. Is this worth it? I would then sell my slim. Is the Super Slim more reliable?

Alternatively I could buy a boxed CECHK03 fat model in beautiful conditon for around 100EUR.

Or I could put some money into my slim and clean it up / pay for the HDMI to be repaired.

What's the best thing to do here?

the only slim that get ylod are 20xx models because they have nec tokin in them. slims 25xx are in my opinion the best ps on the market. but there is a catch some are and some are not full jailbreakable. depends on the datecode.
i would not bother with superslim if you have a good slim. i have superslim only as a backup.
the cechk is a standard fat ps3. good model but same as others it can fail.

second i would not sell any ps3 if you absolutely dont need to. selling slim to get superslim is stupidity.
