Hi everyone, I recently bought a PSxMemCard gen 2 to play games on it. I'm not tech savvy at all and it's been a struggle just trying to get it started. I've been watching YouTube videos and it's left me completely lost/being stuck on updating the card.

So all I've done is copy and paste the default files on sd card provided to a 256gb SanDisk SD and created a new DVD folder (from a YouTube video).

The next step was to update the PSxMemcard and this where I'm stuck. I can't get this thing to read on my computer. I've tried holding a button and connecting it and nothing happens. The cord does work because it does turn on when I connect it without pressing anything, I'm not sure what to do..

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

From what I remember PSxMemCard gen 2 comes with a manual (user manual).

Did you try to read it?

Another note is that did you try to put something like needle, small screwdriver, etc
aside to push the boot button?

While holding the boot button connect USB-C cable from a PC into the card.

Additionally you can get the firmware from here:
