PS3 Terraria : No more update :(

It is possible to mod Terraria on PS3 to upgrade it to new version : Journey's end?
PS3 can surely run it, no?

Modding it may work with 1.2 mods, I believe the files are packed in .vfs format, I never tried extracting it though or look into how it can be extracted, so you should start there.

As for Journey's End 1.4, it's highly unlikely it will be a thing on this gen, heck even 1.3 wasn't implemented into the game, devs said it was due to the limited memory pool.
