    So your saying that the only way to make Hen work is if i could update to 4.82? If i could get my hands on the DEX HFW would it work even though my ps3 is at 4.81?

    thank you! I want the "testkit firmware" right? those only go up to 4.81 on the website the only one that has 4.82 is retail firmware.

    I have a debugging station (which is why i was wondering how to from dex to cex) i want to put Hen on it because the lowest firmware it can take is 3.66. do i need to start out on cex, or will the same steps work on my dex ps3?

    Bump. looks like i want hen, but when i try to install the 4.84 HFW through the recovery menu it gives me an error, probably because my console has DEX not CEX. So i though i could go from DEX to CEX, but everything online uses homebrew applications, which i tried installing but won't run...
