I'm trying to delete this off my 4.92 CECHA system running Evilnat. I followed directions in the post, however it's leaving behind the top subfolder, after I deleted the "reinstall files" option from within that folder. Is there a magic fix for this? Just trying to clean up my XMB a little

Don't use Free DVD Mcboot. Flash the pre-built image to your HDD, then plug and play and follow rest of instructions by Mr. Mario's guide.

Oh okay cool, so then I take it there is no advantage or reason to look into even updating the DVD firmware or anything. I was thinking more along the lines of the ps3, but that makes sense.

It's an interesting idea and might be useful. I think the thing you'd have to consider for would be what kind of handle of sorts would you use to guide that under the IHS. You'd need some strong, angled just right, and thin enough to get under the IHS and on top of the thermal glue. I wanna say...

Any improvements on ps2 gameplay by chance? I've only tested on my 2501a slim model (4.84 Rebug Dex version) and i'm seeing about the same as you. Some games locked, some games pretty noticeable increase in framerate. No major temp changes for mine either. Fan has to work a touch harder but...

What files did you use to update with the latest Cobra version? I was trying to find those online. Wanna make sure I snag the right ones...
