Clean your motherboard with some ipa get some decent flux and reflow if you got a spare hour, may revive it for a while.

Did you scrape the thermal glue of the 4 ram chips? And off the lid? So it sits lower profile? Did you align the lids with the dies and the heatsink properly because it is tricky. I do this nearly every day to various ps3 models mainly 60gb bc systems and if done correctly you should see lower...

Rsx does use thermal paste in middle on the die the 4 ram chips used thermal glue you delid rsx then scrape glue of the 4 ram chips clean the rsx die then apply small amount of mx4 to die and put the heat sink back and carefully reassemble.

Delid cpu and rsx and apply mx4 to both dies and then on heatsink.

Yes it will boot without the bluray. Mx4 is what I use when I delid and its very good.

OK tryed with my cech G gave dump checked with ps3 dump checker and was error continued with the patch and flash and all is good installing rebug now Excellent work devs many thanks again.

Hi I have another nand cech G that I need to swap drives , I haven't used the bg toolset as I know from last time I had issues but you did manage to fix for me appreciate that a lot, my question is the bg toolset ready for nands yet? Thanks
