ok i found the hdd, it says its uninitialized.how can i format it and start over. i had evilnat 3.90 cfw i think.

thats perfect thank you. i lost 10000+hrs of saved game data before i installed cfw. figured since i was starting over why not jailbreak it. Question what is ERK? i do have a save backup when it was 3.85 version. i cant remember but this will help alot. thanks again

no i have not patched it, im learning. its stuck while copying to hdd from thumbdrive initially it was from the latest playstation update. at this point im just trying to get to the xmb, when entering safe mode it freezes when seleting any option besides reboot. if its toast i can start over...

install only gets to 98%, been stuck there for 12+ hrs. should i just let it run and wait?
