I have files extracted from main partition:

I will soon join to PSC users. And first thing which I really hate in this device are game covers. So I decided to make my own based on this one (but a little edited and recreated NTSC/U, NTSC/J and miltidisc PAL). :)
Proof of Concept (two kind of PAL: early revB on right and late on left)...
Images are 32bit PNG, and probably can be easy replaced in:
ROOTFS1.img|usr\sony\share\data\images\
The same with TTF fonts and sounds.
So... I have tried to make much more modern theme, yet still of course fitting to original limitations.
And there it is. After other Console Developers like Nintendo, SEGA or ATARI re-released their older but wonderful and classic Home Consoles in it's new and tiny chassis marketed with some catchy words like "Mini", "Retro" or "Flashback", Sony decided "to jump on the bandwagon" by releasing...
