PS3 3.15 otheros won't install petitboot CLI

I am on PS3 PHAT 1.90 minimum on 3.15 OFW running other os. Only loader I found to work is petitboot GUI, the CLI version from ps3linux.net just says it's corrupted when trying to install it. Any help please?

Nevermind... I downloaded the correct file earlier, deleted it on accident, and just found it again so I'm fine. But now I also have an issue where red ribbon linux mounts / as read only filesystem, and running 'mount -o / remount,rw' fails saying it is write protected. Any advice? Reinstalled many times. Nobody else has this issue apparently.

Might want to consider not using a firmware below 3.55. Assuming this has a 90nm RSX, it could fail on you at any moment. Frankensteining a low fw PS3 adds extra work and frustration to the person who has to fix it. Have you considered updating to rebug and installng linux?

Actually that's the first thing I did. I got it booting and now it shows that on 3.15 OOS it works fine WiFi, but hard drive after install is broken. Updated 4.84 and 4.81 D-REX (all on dex, cex may be better?) Wifi does not work, although HDD does work? I don't know honestly
