EDIT: As far as HEN, the port should be straight forward unless we would also be adding in the act.dat option. Unsure as of yet how we will proceed.

I can confirm this hfw 4.89.1 works on ps3 SUPER SLIM CECH-4202C just installed it

i had same issue on smaller screen. It is same on Win7, Win10 AFAIK. You should be able to drag it up a bit, or use higher resolution screen if possible

EDIT: Hmm, i see that you have a different issue maybe. It does work on Win10 ok. Not sure about the Win11!

Even hiding the taskbar lol, I could barely see the yellow background of the start button, but I couldn't reach, i thought about hooking up my laptop to an external display but my hdmi connector is bad

Not being impatient I'm more curious as to what would happen. Ive used the same hen version on hfw 4.87.1 and hfw 4.88.1 so would it work on the new hfw 4.89.1 or will this cause damage? Sorry for my ignorance this is fairly new to me

just a reminder...on ps3xploit's github repo there is a NEW pull request for the act.dat feature. i do not remember what the issue was with the older pull but the new code worked for me when the old code did not.

Nobody can give a reasonable ETA at the moment, given that OFW 4.89 has barely been out a day. Please don't keep asking; I removed your previous post asking the same thing, because there is no point in doing so - as much as you and others are eager which I understand. HFW, as mentioned here, is useless on its own until HEN is updated. When will HEN be ready? See above answer; it will be ready whenever it is ready, and asking will not speed things along. Thank you for your understanding, and please be patient

no. only CFW-compatable consoles can be downgraded.

you can make it install by changing 4.88 to 4.89 in the 3.0.3 installer html file. so easy!

BUT i recommend everybody wait for official updates and just stay on 4.88 for now.

I can confirm this hfw 4.89.1 works on ps3 SUPER SLIM CECH-4202C just installed it

For some reason, 3 people in our chat have already tried to set 4.89.1 HFW, but it is not set, writes "Corrupted data".
8002F2C5 from Recovery or 8002F165 from XMB.
More confirmation needed!
