4.93 EVILNAT (Cobra 8.5)

PS3 4.93 Evilnat w/ Cobra v8.5 - (CEX/PEX/D-PEX) 4.93

Hopefully I'm wrong but if you've been loading and unloading things through out the years something might have gotten stuck, could be causing loading issue. I know last week I installed something and my whole hdd crashed and had to be reformatted. Rare scenario but anything can happen

What loading issue are you talking about?

The freezes and stuff your referring too.webman is the most reliable but with anything we are pushing the ps3 beyond it's limits. If you run too much too fast or change something your not sure of there is always a risk of freezing. I know hen ps3s are worse. When I had a hen ps3 there was many times it would freeze. Course things have been improved since then. Have you tried the latest webman that was updated to support this cfw? Or were you using an old one.i know I seem persistent in pushing the webman but that's only because it's one of the only things that works the best. It's actually meant to work hand in hand with the cfw. If you notice some minor functions do work in cfw without but that's because of the limit of the cfw file I believe that Sony reads. Alsostools helped in making some of this cfw as well as others. It's A joint project. So it is not just a tool made by a nobody. He's one of the great developers to make it work

Any improvements to ps1,ps2 and psp software?
There are added features and functionality yes. Ps1 doesn't really have much to improve on but I know the PS2 has debug menus and stuff to improve functionality now

yoo @aldostools, I installed the latest webman MOD that you uploaded on your github page, but when I install the PKG I go to webman MOD but it doesn't give me the icon and it says "Data Corrupted", I'm on PEX 4.91 Evilnat

Now when I selected a game to play, my PS3 crashed

Edit:

The brewology site works perfectly your pkg, at least for me

Thank you for the report. It seems it was a bad download on your side. I downloaded and installed the package from the site and it's working fine.

Should I install CEX or PEX?
That's entirely up to you. To a normal everyday user cex might be a bit to your liking as all consumer Ps3s are cex or retail. If you want a hybrid with debugging capabilities you get pex or dpex. If you want just a debugging console you choose dex. Considering your unsure what to choose I think your safest bet is cex but that's entirely up to you. No matter what you choose don't hesitate to ask questions. It's what we are here for. I don't develop but I personally do pex as I do understand enough not to screw up my system. I read a lot.i don't have all the answers mind you but I've been around. But there are others besides me that can fill in the gaps. And that's what makes this a great community

The last time I used it I didn't have problems but now I do but they don't even have to do with webMAN MOD so I don't get it why you keep talking about it.

I mainly talk about it because of the functions you want are all a key component that usually work on webman mod. The other things you use have very little functionality compared to all the features you want. Irisman is meant as a backup manager but it has limited power compared to webman. You list a lot of issues that webman solely was made to accomplish. This is why I keep bringing it up. @aldostools I'm sure you have been following the forums. Am I wrong for trying to get him to understand the importance of your tool. Everything he lists is exactly what webman was meant to accomplish, unless I'm somehow incorrect in that

I have some of the said issues with webMAN MOD as well.

If your having so many issues it sounds like something on your end is corrupt since many use this without problems. I'm not sure what to tell you, as I don't have issues using it or anything Else I recommend to people. I'm not sure what answers your looking for. There's not much more help I can give. There's not much out there that really does what it can do either. Only other thing I can think of is if your using the full webman and have the issues try to install the lite webman. If your having issues with the lite, try the full.
Edit:I took away this line because it sounded cocky and I Apologize. It's hard to understand if I can't recreate the errors your having. Since aldos admits there is some glitch wait for a fix I guess. Best of luck

I recommend you that downgrade to 4.90 or wait for a new update from Evilnat.

I also have been having issues with 4.91 that have been solved recently, but these fixes are not public yet.
That's weird. What issues? Webman works fine for me on 4.91 as it did on 4.90. Maybe it's random, idk.i just can't get on his level if it's been working fine for me. Does it have to do with maybe model compatibility. As I have 2001a and he has 2004b?

2001 and 2004 are identical, just the region is different. In fact Evilnat 4.91 allows you to change the region.
