Hi there!

Just coming across an issue when trying to copy disc based PS3 games. In multiMAN when I select "Copy" on the disc I get an error message "This operation is not allowed".

I noticed in the release notes under the warnings: "If you can't dump or make an ISO of your game disc in multiMAN, go to mmCM tab and select [Switch to multiMAN mode], this will reboot multiMAN and now you will be able to dump/make an ISO of your disc".

I gave this a try and still no luck. Both modes have the same error.

It will let me make an ISO but it can't launch the game from the ISO file. Also if I try to extract the ISO it can't load that result either. It seems like there's no decryption working.

I checked the Cobra settings as well in the XMB and confirmed it is enabled by default.

Tried re-installing multiMAN as well with the same results.
Using the CEX version of this CFW. I installed the CFW and multiMAN and that was it. Please let me know if I am missing a step.

It States In The "Custom FW Tools" That I Am Able To Convert "CEX2DEX" How Would I Go To Do That? Considering I Don't Know How To Dump My "Eid Root Key" Would Love Some Help With This. I Am Trying To Convert To "DEX" In Case Your Wondering What I Am Trying To Do. If It Helps To Better Help Me, My Discord Name Is "Inspirez #4636"

I use IRISMAN 4.88 to copy my games to directory or to ISO

Unfortunately Irisman doesn't seem to be working either. Doesn't recognize the disc and even ejected the disc on me without any input.

Just to clarify as well I have tried more than one game disc and the games are read and launch fine from the XMB. I also have sufficient storage available on the internal HDD (~824GB).

Seems like there is something else not working or missing that's preventing the games from being copied.

you should also see the options of IRISMAN "cobra payload without disk or BDVD

I'm having the same issue, it worked a few times when I first updated to 4.90 but now I cant get past that screen.

I have the opposite problem. You always log into the PSN whether or not the protection is activated. This did not happen with 4.89 or with the previous ones that if the PSN protection was active, the notice to deactivate the syscalls appeared.
 
Is there anyway to change the strings of the temperature monitor in the ps2_netemu?

Usually i like to shorten the Cell Broadband Engine to CBE, just like it's done with the Emotion Engine to EE. I'm kinda OCD with that shit.

Tried that too. Still no luck. When the With BDVD turned on and inserting the disc it will either eject the disc on its own or bring up an error message that says "Disc Failed to Authenticate".

If you use webMAN MOD, update to 1.47.44 before upgrade to Evilnat 4.90

Never install OFW or HFW on CFW.

Update the CFW from XMB or recovery menu.

There is not data loss.

Who i´m found for 4.90.x Full Button Combination´s to Read

@Evilnat and @aldostools , nuff said , everything works as it should and loving the attention to detail with the inclusion of the correct PS2 dvd and cd icon on load ( thanks @Agrippa ) , I no longer have any lock ups and crashes , and hard drive reads are faster as well ( I'm guessing this had to do with a bug in 4.89 on my setup and my Toshiba drives ) , would like to donate please pm as I only have internet money :p

Thank you for continuing to work to bring us CFW & tools!

I am running into one issue: since upgrading Evilnat to 4.90 the other night, my PS3 has thrown error 80710007 every time I try to log into PSN after disabling syscalls or test the Internet connection. It was able to log in with no problems on the previous version just a few months ago, and the Internet connection is working for other things. I updated Webman Mod after someone on Reddit suggested it might be the problem, but that has made no difference, nor did resetting it, uninstalling it, or reinstalling it. Only other homebrew on the system are Irisman and mmCM.

I apologize if someone else has reported the same; I searched this thread as well as the Web for the error number, but nothing came up.
