aren't you all talking semantics? beta or no beta, it's an improvement over the old. he probably wants to know if there are any bugs, because keeping it closed with beta testing didn't work. people, who were supposed to be testing, were releasing the builds as new cfw. I think he felt it was better to have public beta testing afterwards. I've compiled a lot of stuff, and people blame me for bugs, when I had nothing to do with coding. it's quite frustrating. he probably doesn't want to release a full version without knowing there are no issues. a lot of people don't seem to understand that these builds are dubious. we don't know what may be the result with 100% certainty, because we obviously don't have the ps3 source code, but even then, there's a possibility, even by sony themselves.
