The FTP on the PS3 is limited to 100MB/s? i connected both PC and PS3 on the 1 Gbps network here on my house and filezilla keeps uploading at maximum 10 Mb/s... Someone knows why this happens?

There are many factors that affect FTP speed:
- FTP client/server used
- Network connection: direct connection to PC, router, switch, wireless, etc.
- Direction of the transfer: PS3 to PC or PC to PS3
- PS3 Firmware version (it seems PC to PS3 was capped after 4.21)
- Number of files
- PC hardware configuration
- etc.
Here is an old thread where the subject was discussed

NOTE: webMAN MOD is not the fastest FTP server, but is the most convenient due it can be running all the time.
The PS3's Ethernet NIC is limited to 100Mb/s. Note that Mb/s means megabits, not megabytes, and most FTP clients show speed at megabytes (MB/s). To convert you divide by eight, so 100Mb/s = 12.5MB/s. Given that there's some overheard and some noise over the line and that you can never reach 100% of the theoretical speed, then 10MB/s sounds about right.@Evilnat @Berion @GuilloteTesla @LuanTeles

I've wondered about that, whether you could toggle oc, mostly to prevent accidental bricks.@Evilnat is there a OC varient of Beta15 on the horizon perhaps? Maybe a toggle to turn on/off via CFW settings so no need to reflash cfw, even a CFW updater via internet? Just some thoughts Thank you for what you do provide.

This is not correct either. SATA 1.5 has a theoretical max speed of 1.5 GbpsThe real limitation is the 1.5 SATA generation for the internal storage which is limited to 150 Mb/s, so the maximum rate speed is 19 MB/s for the data transfer.
@Evilnat, HIMSE WARNING, IF YOU HAVE THE CURRENT BETA 15 D-PEX DOES NOT CONVERT YOUR CONSOLES TO CEX THAT WILL BRIKE YOUR CONSOLES, MY 2 SLIM CONSOLES ARE BRICT AND MY DECHA00A. CHANGE WARNING TO ALL DOES NOT WITH THE CURRENT BETA 15 D-PEX
Thx for the info, i managed to upload a file at 15 MB/s on the PS3, also on the next month i will change the HDD for a SSD i purshased a HDD but is too slow on some demands and a brand new HDD of 1TB is impossible to find. I will try to disable the TRIM of the SSD and install on the PS3. The SSD is faster and safe. By deactivating TRIM on the SSD perhaps is safe to use on the ps3.
Evilnat -the author of the CFW- has suggested WAITING until he posts a fix. Just because you've been lucky doesn't mean that others will be the same. In other words, avoid to use CEX2DEX conversion for the moment."Luckily, nothing happened to mine. I went back and forth many times on BETA 15.
That must be what happened to that member we answered regarding being on evilnat 4.91 Dex, then needing nobd or something. I think @esc0rtd3w answered him too. I didn't realize it until esc0rtd3w corrected me about not having to be on cex for nobd, but when the member converted to cex, I think he bricked. Had I known about the bug, I wouldn't have suggested converting.Evilnat -the author of the CFW- has suggested WAITING until he posts a fix. I was talking about the Ethernet connection. This is not correct either. SATA 1.5 has a theoretical max speed of 1.5 Gbps
See HERE, We have gotten speeds way higher than 19MB/s in the past, so the limitation is definitely not hardware on the SATA side.
Older firmwares used to give us about 30MB/s, then after 4.21 something in COREOS changed.
