PS VITA / PsTV A lot of lag when playing PSP games on Adrenaline

I already enabled those two settings.

Ok, but after doing that, will the plugins be automatically enabled or I'll have to do another step (in Pro-C one had to enable them afterwards in the Recovery Menu)?

I didn't know Ape Quest was also needed for HENkaku, but if so, isn't it already downloaded when installing HENkaku?
Ape Quest (or the PBOOT trick on any retail PSP game from PSN) is needed to hack a Vita in latest firmware (the latest version of h-encore and the trinity exploit by TheFl0w), I'm talking about firmware 3.74, I'm not talking about 3.60 that has many other hacks and henkaku is install via web browser.

Plugins are enabled/disabled when you install them (write them to PLUGINS.TXT file) and also can be enabled/disabled in the recovery menu.

But after adding them to the plugins.txt file I didn't find a settimg regarding them in the Recovery Menu and in GitHub it should be said that to activate them one would have to go to Recovery Menu (as well as if Ape Quest isn't downloaded, FastArk will download and install the Sasuke vs. Commander mini game)

Press triangle in Recovery Menu to access the Plugins page.

I now remember the plugins menu but it should also be on GitHub that they must be activated afterwards on the menu.

If it's possible to install HENkaku on 3.74 then why do tutorials reccomend to downgrade to 3.60/3.65?

I think that should be written on GitHub too.

For two reasons, first and most importantly because 3.60 and 3.65 can have enso installed (permanent henkaku) while for later firmwares it's a semi-untethered jailbreak that needs to be applied every time you power on the console. Secondly because all homebrews and plugins are made for 3.60 and 3.65 so it's generally the most compatible firmwares.

Is 3.60 more homebrew compatible than 3.65?

I don't know, from what it seems it's a mix bag, more in favor of 3.60 but still a mix bag. The only reason ARK-4 doesn't work with 3.65 is because I haven't update the ePSP kernel exploit it uses (which was patched in 3.65), I tried porting the trinity exploit but couldn't get it working.

Is it possible to change ARK's language?

hey man, forgot to ask, did you fix the issues with ARK? Or do you still get the "minis" screen when you load it up?

As for changing the language, the games themselves should use the same language as the Vita system, the custom launcher however still doesn't have any translations (I plan on adding them but bugs and other features take priority right now).

I don't get it if I install Ape Quest and I'm not having black screen issues but since I'm afraid I might have problems with some games (according to my personal experience and to some users on GBATemp's ARK-4 thread) I'll stick to Adrenaline (at least for now).

Yeah you were probably running an older version, I've been fixing a lot of bugs in inferno lately. Anyways if you don't report bugs there's not much I can do to fix them. Adrenaline won't ever be fixed, it's bloated by design. Is there any reason why you would only have one anyways? They don't conflict with each other so you can have both.

I don't think it has to do with running an older version but with not having installed Ape Quest beforehand.

But some users still complain about problems in some games and I was told it was more compatible than Adrenaline. I guess I'd only have one of them to spare the microSD's/USB's device storage and to be less confusing.

I'm talking about GBATemp's ARK-4 thread.
Why do you think there's been a new ARK release daily for the past few weeks? Every bug reported in GBATemp and the Github issues page has been already fixed ;)
But please do report if you find any or have any idea for a new feature, I tend to reply as fast as I can and try to fix any bugs as soon as they are reported.

I don't know, since I didn't follow ARK before and IIRC, there were already daily releases before users complaining about issues in GitHub.

Well, I was having those black screen issues but stopped having them and I said that memory setting was breaking the games I tried.

I guess I'll keep on using Adrenalone for now since it's more stable.

I don't know what makes you think ARK isn't stable, and what makes you think Adrenaline is, or what makes you think people were having a huge amount of issues, the GBATemp thread doesn't even suggest this in the slight bit, but whatever man I was just trying to help you with the lag, if that issue is solved I guess there's no point to continue the conversation, specially since you keep saying ARK is buggy and unstable but have yet to tell me a single bug or stability issue so I can fix it, thus I'm only going in circles here.

I appreciate your help and support for making this app and I'd gadly use it but since I had the mentioned black screens and the exiting app issues after playing games it's normal for me to keep on using Adrenaline since I ran those games with it and I didn't have this issues so that's why I said the latter was more stable.

Well, there are two (at least) users (besides me) there who keep complaining about problems. I still have the slowdown issue on Adrenaline although it's less serious than before and I couldn't even have this issue when using ARK because like I told I couldn't even play games when using it because of the blackscreen and exiting ARK issues when playing them so I actually told you the bugs and stability issues I was having (and many times) unlike what you're saying.

I also think it doesn't make sense for one to have to install a game (Ape Quest, in this case) to make ARK work (even though it apparently still has issues) and that this information was only added to the GitHub's ARK-4's repo's instructions because I complained about it since it wasn't working properly and I suppose ARK-4 isn't a recent project but one who already has some years.

Again you keep lying about users complaining in GBATemp when I watch that thread every single day and reply to every single post and all known issues and crashes have been fixed, ARK is even known to outperform PRO and ME providing more stable FPS near-ISO speeds for compressed ISO. Like I said I don't appreciate disinformation nor do I want to waste my time helping someone who doesn't want to be helped and craps on me and my work when I offered him all my help.

I have no idea why you even opened this thread, if what you want is a fix to any Adrenaline bug then I suggest not to hold your breadth waiting for it. I've also never seen Adrenaline's developer in this forums, so it's not like your cry for help will be heard anyways. Anyways, half fun with your FPS drops.

I didn't lie. They did complain about problems and like you said now, you (apparently) fixed all of them (did you actually fix the memory setting issue that might crash games?). This isn't disinformation and doesn't mean I don't want your help or that I only badmouth you or your wor. If it weren't for me, your instructions on GitHub about the installation of ARK-4 on the PS Vita would be incomplete (you only added the need of installing Ape Quest because of what I said) and so other users would have the same problems as I did. This is a fundamental step so I don't know why it was missing in the first place.

How could I know that about Adrenaline's developer and why should he/she be the only want to help me, anyway? When I ask for help I don't necessarily want to be answered by the developer but from someone who can help me. I might as well have FPS drops than not being able to play certain games.
