It failed, the RLOD is still present. I need a new MoBo, buying next week.
Should I get another CECHL or another model?

Instead of soldering small wires I have moved the connector closer, over the 3 points it can touch and be directly soldered on the MoBo, lifted the third pin and grounded it as the red line suggested. That was a genius move

I have received my 5th PS3, a second 2501A and OC'd it to 750/1000. I can wait to repair my old fattie. Thanks guys
 
Ok, too bad. You could read out the Syscon to find out the exact error. Or you can sell the mainboard as defective, but please do not throw it away as there are many parts on it that others can still use.
