PS3 Advice on changing Yakuza 5's EBOOT.BIN filepaths from absolute to relative?

Good evening,

For the past few days, I've been trying to convert my copy of Yakuza 5 (PSN Game) to work as a disc-based ISO. I have had some good success with converting some PS1, PS2, and PS3 PSN Games with the PSN Liberator, but after a good weekend of converting and testing, I have realized that the Liberator cannot do a thorough enough job because of the EBOOT.BIN.

I suspect that there are some absolute paths inside that are searching for the game's files on the hard drive that it cannot find, which returns error code 0x80010009 when trying to boot. I confirmed later that this was the issue after spending hours getting the game to install in .PKG form.

I also own the Japanese physical release, but with the little bits of the .ELF files that I can read in HxD, they are both very similar. Replacing the English EBOOT with the Japanese EBOOT allows the game to launch, but as expected it does not get past the loading screen.

I am looking for advice on how reroute the EBOOT.BIN/ELF from absolute paths to relative paths. The game does run properly when installed onto the PS3, but that sort of defeats the purpose of mounting the ISO, I would like it if the game actually used the files that were on the ISO. I do not know if there is anything I can take from the Japanese EBOOT to allow the English to look for the files on the ISO instead of the hard drive.
