PS3 Alternate way to download game updates and DLC once official PS3 servers are finally canned?

I noticed that on ps3.aldostools.org all the PS3 game updates he hosts originate from playstation.net. Same thing goes for sites that offer PS3 DLC. Which has me wondering: When those servers are eventually shut down permanently, where will we go to continue downloading all that stuff?

AFAIK @sandungas backed up all updates on his external drives.

That would be great, however sandungas hasn't been around for about 2 years. People might be in touch with him off site, but sadly we've not seen him in a while

Sadly i have not heard anything from @sandungas for sometime, I know @Roxanne hasn't seem him around either we have both inquired about him to each other about him but we have not seen him around.

Hopefully he is okay and doing well and just wanted to step away from the scene but we don't know..
