PS3 Any graphic improvements for PSOne games on PS3?

The PS3 system has the option to upscale the resolution of PSOne games, which is good, but is there any way to apply some graphic improvements like what we have in PC duckstation? Something similar to openGL or something?

There is no playstation core for retroarch ce. Although i also dont understand Spanish i looked at the video and it seems to be talking about how the sega 32X emulator for PS3 got dynarec and how that could lead to more emulators for PS3, this has been discused here before and yes dynarec for PS3 was a huge step forward but the PS3 scene needs more dev's to port it to other emulators, but if it was easy to do we would have ps1 and n64 emulation by now which means it is not so simple. Plus i think most of the dev's who where previously working on retroarch have moved on or are just not that active here anymore (or atleast i havent seen any posts by them for a long time, and Crystal's last post was Feb 21, 2023)

ps one looks pretty bad on the ps3, judging from xenogears. this is even with the two enhancement features. you may need a remastered version of whatever title you're running unfortunately. I remember ff7 remastered on the switch actually looks good, at least to me. the normal version looks terrible these days.

@Dariush Aghaee No, nothing is improved. Instead, broken like upscalling not by nearest neighbour algo but bilinear, which results in blurry ugly screen. At least emu used for digital content distribution type.

You can use smooth option in xmb to improve the anti-aliasing
It doesn't improve Anti-Aliassing but blurring textures only.

Changing from ps1_emu to ps1_netemu could help with the display of some games. Don't expect too much from this though.

Apart from PS3SX 0.1 which is a very old PSX emulator released mainly as a PoC for dynarec, as far as I remember the only options to improve PS1 games is using the official XMB settings (PS upscaler & smoothing) and applying PPF patches directly to the ISO.

i think PS3SX 0.1 was released back in 3.41 and then i think IngPeria (could be wrong spelling) then rewrote the emulator with a dynarec in 3.55 or 4.21. I think that download has been missing for the rewrite.

It's been 10 year + ago so details i could be wrong and missing some details or that could be the rewrite linked but i believe that one was from 2011 and the rewrite came a couple years later. ?

Edit:
Original Code from google code

Ok, Originally it had dynarec support, i guess only in 3,41(?), then broken in 3.55(?), then brought back to 4.21 by IngPeria (?). Or i could be very wrong :)

According to the following link from november 2010, the PS3SX emulator is a port of PCSX to the PS3. It runs at full speed, full screen, and supports CDDA and XA audio. It uses AerialX's libkammy for the dynarec implementation on 3.41.
https://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/threads/348546-PS3SX-PSX-Emulator-Released-for-PlayStation-3

In 2013, IngPereira implemented a dynarec tool on 4.21 based on libkammy patches. It allowed run a port of PS3SX emulator on 4.21. Months later (2014?), DeanK added these dynarec patches to multiMAN / mmCM.

The dynarec feature has been available for +10 years, but it practically hasn't been used by homebrews developers.

In 2022, OsirisX added dynarec to PicoDrive using Cobra syscalls thanks to TheRouLetteBoi's PS3MAPI additions for page memory allocation and habib's syscalls 10 and 15 that allow direct code execution from memory.

What kind of ppf patches?
