PS3 app_home isn't showing up on the XMB

Hi, I'm running a CECH-4203C on 4.90HFW, HEN 3.2.2 and webMAN MOD v1.47.45.

app_home isn't showing up on the XMB. It's selected in setup but refuses to show. PSN games won't launch via webMAN but Roms launch fine. It's been like this for quite a while and I've updated HFW version, HEN and webMAN without it changing.

Aldo suggested on github to try adding app_home manually - edit the category_game.xml in /dev_blind/.. and insert these 2 blocks:

The only issue I have now is that I don't know how to add it in without messing up my home screen and needing to reinstall HFW etc!

I'm having the same problem, /app_home is checked but the icon doesn't show up in the xmb. HEN 3.2.2.

Aldo suggested adding those lines in from my initial post. The problem is I don't know where in the category_game.xml text to add them. I ignorantly added them to the end but when I rebooted my PS3 the games tab had no info in it. This meant I needed to reinstall HFW and HEN all over again!

is it working now after you reinstalled HFW and HEN?

ok, I managed to fix it. Go to Network > Hybrid Firmware Tools > Maintenance and there should be a option called "Toggle app_home Support", make sure it's activated and then reload XMB
EDIT: that only makes the icon appear, though. When trying to mount games with it or reloading the list in webman, the error 80028F14 pops up. I'm assuming it must be a problem within HEN itself.

Well tried it and does the same as yours with the same error code. app_home now shows but doesn't do anything.

Aldo said it could be an issue with the paths redirection in HEN. I saw another user mentioning this to esc0rtd3w but it was too late to fix it in the next release (3.3.0) that'll go live in a few hours; it might be updated in the future though. Until there you can still run installed PSN games through the xmb instead since the roms work fine.

Ok then mate, guess we'll need to wait and see if a future updates fixes this. Yes my PSN games have always been working fine launched from XMB direct. I'd just like to have all my games to launch from webMAN games as I love them to be all accessible from one place and hide my PSN games in a folder underneath.

btw, aldo launched a new update for webman mod (1.47.46c) that seemed to fix this problem. Maybe you could try it out when you get the chance
