Hey there,

I have been running Artemis with DBXV under Hen (the latest release, January 2021). Artemis works fine with other games, but it freezes my DBXV. I can't use any code; as soon as the battle starts the game freezes.

I guess it could be an issue within Artemis' game registry (as there are several DBXV versions). Anyway, I am using the game version that comes after filtering the list (pressing triangle); I have not checked with the other DBXV versions in Artemis, but I will leave this here in the ocassion one of you had said issue and had sorted it out.

Thank you,

This program freezes for everyone some times, but majority of the time it works great It's different for everyone. For me, Artemis doesn't work with webman at all freezes every time, but multiman it works great 98%. Occasional freeze, but not very often. So now I only use multiman because of the memory issues with webman with artemis.

^ Is there a way to turn off that backup game VSH launcher, the one you get by holding down start at launch it seems to interfere with the Artemis game start combination when returning to the XMB.
I also read that you supposed to use the lite version of multiman with Artemis because of the memory limitations??? I don't even know the difference of features between lite & full.

Well, I have been trying to get the codes to work.
But they won't.

I read somewhere else that when Artemis fails, sometimes it is a memory issue.
I am using MultiMan, so this shouldn't be the case.

I guess that if the cheats exist, then they worked at least once.
Anyway, are there other homebrew cheat managers for the PS3?

I will appreciate your comments.

Just letting you know I solved the issue.

The version of the game Artemis displayed after filtering its database was not the one I have.
It detected the game as if I had the DLC.

So, I just installed the DLC and restored the file system; everything works perfectly now.

yes can turn it off. You need to open the webman mod settings, and change the Shortcuts options. Look for the one that hooks the "START" button and uncheck the checkbox, so webman won't try to open the game launcher

By the way Bucanero, the game that had the issue was Dragon Ball XV BLUS-31507. I had the "vanilla" version of the game, but Artemis' codes work only after you have the DLC.

yes, it's a usual situation, many cheat codes are only meant for a specific region/version, but not all the information and details are available in the cheat file.

So in the end is a bit of trial and error... sometimes even a "BLES" code will work in a 'BLUS' title, but it takes time and patience to try each one
