PS3 BC FAT ps3, 12v line shorted. 2.6 ohm

Hi
I have a BC Ps3 which was working really well
Was running and then suddenly beeps turns off
Tried turning on again and doesnt

Tried different power supply and same thing happens
Once I try to turn on, I can try again until some time

Striped it down again and removed one side TANT caps and jumper wire, short still there
The short is 2.6 ohms
Looked over the board, cant see any burnt components
Looked on the shields and no burn marks

How can this be diagnosed
Do i need to inject voltage on the 12v line to find short

some people say it could be the black squares, (see highlighted in the photo attached)
Will really appreciate all the help

I figured out the shorted component was
iPowIR IP2003ATRPBF (40A Synchronous Buck Multiphase Optimized LGA Power Block)
It was the one above the CELL
I replaced all three and also replaced OnSemi NCP5318FTR2G
once doing this I tested and got delayed YLOD
not sure why
so checked for short on the 12v line and there was not any
I then checked all the tant caps and all within spec and not shorted
checked jumper wires (i had to replace all the nec tokin caps)

I checked the resistance on the CELL and RSX tant caps positive and got
1.8 ohms for CELL
1.9 ohms for RSX

Have you think to delid if you have 3 seconds then beep. Should be fine for old models like 2 ohms. I have seen something like 1.2 ohms on gpu at this model and working fine with 40 percent of fan speed in game after one hour 68 constant from webman.
I had reballed many off cok002, cok001.
They are the hardest ps3 to be fixed. First take all measurements on board, delid, reball if you are technician for electronics.

I have delid
I did put the measurements in ohms
this was working fine so i do not think it is a CELL or RSX bga chip problem
 
If is delayed should be rsx or that ps2 emulator ic not sure. În some cases where board is bended I reball all 3. But in some cases rsx is dead and on measurements show as good. After exchange with well known working rsx work.
It is tricky with these boards.
You can wait more advices from other advanced users here but only proceed with reball if all measurements have been made.

what more measurements can be done
I was reading the post about using a USB TTL thing to get some codes to see
will this help
 
Never test it. This is something new for me as well. I will probably test it with first unit. In UK there are many, but here on Romania bearly can find phat models. Think many people are not using ebay, amazon just local sites and Aliexpress.

ok not sure how to get this going again
it seems like it is trying to turn on as the delay gets longer when trying to turn on but sonme times delat decreases and increases
weird
help pls
 
Next step is for reball. You may need to find nearest expert on your area if not able to fix.
