PS2 Best Place to Get Save Files?

I broke my laptop so a lot of my save files went away with it. I had some SNES games on my PC, as well as PSX, 3DS, etc. I have a lot of SNES games on my ps2 but you can't play them because they are games that require an extra chip like Rockman & Forte, Super Mario RPG, Yoshi's Island 2, so when you play them on the ps2 they lag and freeze up.

A lot of games I've beaten so I don't want to have to beat again, but some games I was only 10-20%, or half-way through so I want to find save files nearby. Is GameFAQs the best place to find game saves?

I really hope too many people don't download from ps2store....if it raises the bill...uh oh...
 
@Ripto, fortunately nothing happened to my ps2 saves, but any psx save on the pc was destroyed. I think they are backed up on my desktop in the shed but I'm not 100% sure. Still a good resource nonetheless.
