You don't configure the proxy on your PS5 so it's not possible for it to get banned. As for using PSN on the PS3 - make sure you log out of PSN before configuring the proxy, disable auto-login, and remove the proxy after jailbreaking and before you log in to PSN again, that way it's not possible to be banned for using the proxy. Of course, after you've jailbroken, playing on PSN on a modded console always has its risk but tat's unrelated.
 
ok so i did everything right the only problem im have is when im on the site itself im getting the display error where all the log stuff should be hope i explained it good enough and is there a reason im not seeing Force accept encoding GZIP and Deflate because fiddler doesnt give the option
 
Hi! Thank you. got mine working now!

PS3 slim 4.91 (CECH-2012A). from Hen to CFW! I got stuck at step 9 at first but managed to continue.

"9) Extract the attached file using 7zip or WinRAR into that folder and overwrite the existing file (you might want to back it up somewhere first)."

Here's what I did:
1. Download the CustomRules.js.xz on the attachment.
2. right click on the file and extract it using 7zip or WinRAR.
3. copy the extracted file "CustomRules.js"
4. open your \documents\fiddler2\scripts folder (should be on your "My Documents\Fiddler2\Scripts" folder)
*** There should be 1 file here named "BrowserPAC.js" (just leave it as is)
4. paste the CustomRules.js
5. run Fiddler and hit F12 to stop capturing.
6. Click "Rules" and you should be able to see "Force accept encoding GZIP and deflate".

I Continue the process using the tutorial from MrMario in youtube (How to Jailbreak Your PS3 on Firmware 4.91 or Lower with PS3 Toolset!)

hey man nice tutorial it helped me out but a the end the website did load up but on the logs i see the infamous error (807100028)
 
just used this again for another CECH-2001A worked like s charm I noticed some times the settings don't save on fidler so if you are having issues go over your settings if you have restarted the program
 
whenever I try to get onto the website on ps3, it says the error 80710b36
After I accept the "scary text ahead" popup, no prompt is there to install the certificate.
the win32 (SChannel) native error code is: 0x80090326 on the fiddler side.
I'm on windows 7 btw.

(EDIT): Windows 7 doesnt work with fiddler.

Your firewall might block the port that fiddler/mitmproxy is running on. If it is open, you have to ensure you enter the correct IP of your computer in your LAN and double check the port used.

anyone figure out how to fix fiddler not showing "Force accept encoding GZIP and Deflate" I've un-installed and reinstalled fiddler 4.6 and tried fiddler 5 with all the steps and the config but it just won't show in rules tried windows 10 and 11

You can use mitmproxy on Windows as well if Fiddler doesn't work for you. Just follow the instructions which are linked in the main post. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Open the custom rules tab, close it, then close fiddler. Look and see if a custom rules file pops up in scripts now, then overwrite it with the attached custom rules file and open fiddler and check if it's there now.

I ended up just making my own customrules and it fixed it, thank you for the replies tho
