PS2 Black screen with OPL 1.1b1629

You did well, I had the same yesterday. I then added 1627 with bdm as title in fmcb, on a paralel OPL (kept the 1629 settings as bdm3 title) to see how it would work and it did the same. However, after doing it a few times and resetting the ps2 several times the save option did go through somehow .
It ended up saving anyway.

You can keep as many opl versions in the same folder on mc0: as you like.

I keep having the issue that 1629 can see but does not play USB. I'm using 1345 for that.

This is a fat PS2. I've got a TON of games on the HDD and I also want to use my MX4SIO so I need to be able to save. Hopefully someone can chime in here on what else I need to do in order for this to work.

The bitfunx MX4SIO from China works for me on beta 1629, so it should work. But really, try my way. It saved it eventually Eventhough it got stuck and I was resetting the ps2. I do have to pull out the MX4SIO and put it back in though if it doesn't read it at first.

I'm wondering--do they all use the same configuration? What if I used a slightly older version and saved the config there?

Ok--fixed the config issue. There is a known bug where it won't save if you have the MX4SIO card enabled. It's working now, save for the MX4SIO

You can use any OPL version you want. Using a old version (like OPL 0.9.2) it simply won't detect the new settings that have been added on newer versions.
