Well what I got from it was that you install a regular CFW like rebug4.82.2Rex or whatever CFW without the noBD (I'm not sure if you hookup BD then install or hookup when?) then dump the eid root key (you need another tutor for that) then follow the steps given in order. This was my interpretation, not a how-to. Idk if that's correct.

Edit: steps 1 2 & 3 are settings in a standard REBUG CFW like rebug 4.82.2 Rex, in rebug toolbox enable cfw setting 0.1a, on XMB go to network category, one of the new options has steps 1-2-3 in it, simply click fsm on, remarry, fsm off. Again this is what I got from it, not a how-to as I don't understand it all too well.
 
Thanks for your suggestion, but i think i cannot install a CFW without the noBD since the BD is broken.
I did install the CFW rebug 4.82.1 nobd with the broken BD in from the begining.

Seems complicated for a noob like me lol, maybe i will wait for someone who have done this before.

Anyway thank you @DrexploidHax for your help, i really appreciate it

No problem, but the installing of a standard CFW shouldn't have any problems, it's using HomeBrew I believe. But using the options listed in that thread shouldn't have a problem if it's enabled by default, and accessable.
 
Ok cannot make multiman 4.82 to work on CFW 4.82.1 NOBD, i get only black screen.
Searched for a multiman version "4.82.1" and there's nothing.
Edit : Rebug Tool Box , Black screen
Is there a way to make it works?

Read my post again.
Unless you are already in DEX mode, you need to repack & install a Rebug REX noBD pup with the changes I mentioned to cfw_settings.xml so you can enter FSM from XMB & remarry.
That or go to 3.55 & use the lv2diag.self files...

As an alternative to repacking a PUP, I suppose you could also use PETT to mount /dev_blind then delete/rename the 2 xml files. Check out the PETT tutorial page if interested & post there if u need help with it.

If the BD worked before installing a noBD CFW. Updating to a CFW that doesn't have the bluray firmware removed should make it work again.

But if your going the route of marrying a known working BD. You might want to make sure your WiFi/BT module is connected properly first.

Update error 0x8002F281 Error with installing Firmware update. Check the connection of the Wifi/BT board.

If it is connected and working properly:

Issue with the PS3 harddrive.0x8002F281Issue with the PS3 harddrive. Reboot system and use Recovery Menu options. If error persist, Format the hd on a pc, reinsert it to the ps3, install update (normal/recovery mode), format hd on install. If still not fixed: exchange harddrive.
Note: This error also comes up when trying to install a 1.5TB HDD as internal HDD.
Plug it into the pc, then open command prompt.
1) Type "diskpart" 2) Type "list disk" - Get the disk number for the drive you are fixing. 3) Type "select disk 1" - If the disk is not #1, change this accordingly. 4) Type "clean" 5) Type "create partition primary" 6) Type "select partition 1" 7) Type "active" 8) Type "assign" - When it asks you to format, click cancel. 9) Type "exit" 9) Type "exit" 10) Reinsert into your ps3, and boot it into safe mode, it may take awhile to boot into safe mode. 11) Choose to update, it should ask you to format, do so then update.
Issue with flash. R/B control signal for NAND not connected (leg, track, or via for R/B brokens when attempting to solder a flasher on it)

I install it and the broken BD was connected, i tough that was the problem, but redoing this with the BD unplugged still black screen for rebug toolbox and multiman.

I'm in CEX mode, the only thing i want know is to make Multiman and Rebug toolbox works. then i will go for remarry step.

So try and install latest rebug rex from rebug.me. Make sure the BD is connected properly. Make sure you have the daughter board that was originally in that ps3, connected to the known working BD you want to use.

Then you won't have to marry anything, and won't have to mess with any noBD CFWs.

tried to go factory service mode, and unfortunatly i'm stuck on that screen, when the ps3 turn on a load the FSM it only freeze.

Edit "update" : Ok i was able to get the ps3 out of FSM screen using this file lv2diag.self

But still cannot enter in recovery or make rebug toolbox to work

Do you currently have a working logic board properly attached to the motherboard with a ribbon cable? Those ribbon cables can be tricky to set right if you are not careful.
You said you swapped the BD with another & I already told you in a previous post that when you swap the BD unit you also swap the logic board screwed under the unit on fat systems.
The logic board is essential to the good functioning of the ps3, without it all sorts of problems appear & many things don't work any more, you then have to fiddle about to get simple things done.
 
I understand everything you say bguerville;

The CFW 4.82.1 rebug nobd was just bad step i installed "was faulty", cuz homebrew won't work "even recovery mode"

Now im back to CFW ferrox 4.82 nobd, hopefully the QA toggle was on.

Rebug toolbox and multiman are working. i will try the remarry process now.
 
I can't enter to recovery mode

im on 4.82 Ferrox now, anything i can do to fix the recovery mode?

"No beeps when clicking on power buttons, and it goes directly to the xmb, i cant even power off the ps3 using the power button"

Im on The Black screen of death

Only black screen and the ps3 isn't responding.

I wanted to update again to Rebug 4.82.1 NOBD CFW from XMB since i can't enter in recovery.

After verification the ps3 reboot on black screen.

Ok time to give it to a pro for repair lol
 
Hi im back :D

I'm on 4.82.2 Rebug now.
Plug in the working bluray.
dump the eid key boot and put it on root usb.
Toggle FSM
Remarry bluray drive.

I got this error message :
sys_storage_open err :80010006
Cex_drive_init() failed

Any clue?
