Bricked PS3, A little bit of help.

Attach the e3 flasher the psu and blah blah then detach the ribbon from the mainbourd E3 then short the middle pins and power on....the unit it should stay on BUT IF YOU ARE NEAR THE ENDS WITH THE TWEAZERS U WILL FRY YOUR NOR BE SURE TO GET THE CENTRE OF ALL THE PINS.....reattach the connector to e3 bourd and flash

got the screw out, Imma use the tape method first.

@sandungas, or pretty much anyone if i send you my Motherboard picture/model will you point out where the tristate and the GND are so I can tape both of em?

Should i short it with a pliers? and should i short it after i turned it on or before i turned it on?

U need tweaser fine nosed
And you short the pins then power on in that order then reattach the clip

hmm I soldered the wire, the first time the fan had rushed to max and switched off, now after a few times it just switches off.

E3 Flasher isn;t connected yet, if i do that will it stay on?

If the wire is grounded to tristate the fan wouldnt speed up like that as there is no communication from the ps3 can you upload images of your setup please

Your fan must be screwd down you will damage your console

that was before, I resoldered the points again.
Long back i soldered a different point so that's probably why.
