it's minver is under 3.55 but without 4.91 i suppose i'll try it?

Unfortunately I tried NoBD and it still shows black screen no update so yeah the format screen goes blank after 100%

I'm still open but I am getting an eMMC superslim as backup

yo i tried to install rsod bypass on 4.xx and it still is blank is it hardware failure because of my lack of thermal paste from before?
The HDD reads for a few seconds on the blinking light then it goes blank just like the screen. i mean it overheated alot before this even happened.

@Evilnat xai plugin only created 129 out of 27K from my rap.bin and then it gave an error.

I have fixed it, my BETA 2 has it

I formatted it in the PS3 after the first time it happened so both drives have nothing rn
I also took out the power supply and blew at the HDD reader to rid of any dust

Did you try to use another USB drive to install the PUP? I saw people that fixed it like this, but I don't know if it will work for you

Try to reset the resolution, turn off your PS3, then hold down the power button until you hear a beep. After the beep, release the button, the PS3 should switch to the base 480p resolution.

Unfortunately it did not work and instead of recognizing my drive as healthy my pc decided that it wants to initialize because of the format it's gotta be something wrong because my PS3 normally formats it fine before this when I installed stage0 fixes

The last thing you could try is using FSM, I don't know if you got a FSM/JIG dongle but this should let you reinstall the firmware via lv2diag.self ... I don't recall CEX CFW 4.xx being able to enter FSM via dongle but it does work on DEX as long as your lv0 is patched.

I am interested if we can patch CFWs 4.XX to enter FSM like many years ago on CEX with custom USB device, I am very lost on this topic because I have never looked into it

you can enter FSM via dongle on DEX but fails on CEX if I remember correctly. But once you're entered on FSM (using xai also) you can install 4.xx CFW without any issue (only via lv2diag.self). But the CFW you install needs a patch that can exit FSM via lv2diag.self otherwise PS3 gets stuck at FSM. I think it was appldr patch.. we got that from miralatijera if I remember correctly. REBUG 4.65 and up have them. I think yours do as well.

Do you have a AV to HDMI adapter to utilize the factory AV port? I've had this exact same issue numerous times, and the fix was to just boot the console using the AV port for display and once it boots into the xmb, put the HDMI back into the PS3 HDMI port and it will ask you if you want to switch to 1080p. Hope this helps you too!
