PS3 Burned Media Issues After SSD Install

Hey everyone,

I recently sent my CECHA12 off for a delid and recap. When it came back I decided to upgrade the old HDD with a 240GB SSD.

For some reason, with the new SSD installed I can't play any burned media anymore - it just doesn't show up on the XMB. This goes for PS1 and PS2 games alike.

If I stick the old 60GB HDD back in, it works perfectly.

I've tried updating Rebug (from 4.82 to 4.84), reformatting the SSD, rebuilding the file system, even tried a backup / restore.

None of these have worked, I'm beginning to think it's some weird compatibility issue caused by the SSD.

Has anyone run into this before, or have any idea of what I can try to get it working again?

Thanks in advance

UPDATE

I replaced the SSD with a HDD from a different 60GB system and it's showing the same issues.

I think maybe the SSD isn't the issue - as it seems like any storage device aside from the original drive isn't working.
